After cold months and bare trees I feel myself coming back to life when I get to be outside and feel the warmth of the sun and witness the beauty of spring. To me spring is synonymous with motherhood. Birth and new life, fertility and abundance. I have been photographing this mother and daughter since she was in the womb and have seen her throughout the years grow and blossom into her own little being. This session was focused on capturing the bond they have together and the closeness they share. Captured on Portra 400 film we took our time and slowed down capturing their genuine connection.
